SEARCH in Koinup!

I'm glad to tell you that Koinup, now, has its own search feature!

We're testing the tool, so It's possible that you could come across some issue and bug. But the most important is that now you could search for the subject you like and you want to know!!!!

Our Search Tool is based on the idea that any Koinup member maybe could be interested only in a few of our Koinup categories. Maybe someone is interested only in machinima and videos. Some others maybe could be interested only in Second life works. Or only in stories

We tried to comply this......Let me know if we're reaching this aim......

New upgrade scheduled!

Dear Koinup-ers,
On Friday (June 29, 2007) we will take down Koinup to make some very important upgrades! The website won't be available for about 4 hours (from 6:00 a.m to 10:00 a.m GMT).......

I'm sure you'll enjoy so much these upcoming features!

Coolest machinima, pictures and stories!

Hello Koin-up-ers,

Some Koinup enthusiasts last days asked me:
" What's the hell is Coolest? Why do you name some works as coolest?

It's an interesting questions and I'm so glad to explain a little bit........

At first, let me say that any work (as videos, machinima, pictures) and any member in Koinup can be a coolest!
Coolest is a feature of Koinup works and people that obtain great feedback from the community:
Coolest works are the most view, commented and saved as favourites works
Coolest people are the most active and appreciated member of the website

Who decide if a work is coolest or not? You, abviously! We made the algorithm that displays work. But you decide if a work "rocks!" or not!!!!!!!!

Next days, we'll go on to talk about "the coolest"....

Dear readers,

Koinup is come back and is available now! you can start to share your creations!

During this maintenance, we worked on to improve the quality of our network, so the website should be work better than before! (hope so ;-))

But maybe you should be more interested in that we have activated "the embedded" for our machinimas and videos.

As you know, with "the embedded" tool you can embed our video player in your blogs or other website. So you can post your machinima here in Koinup and, also, show them in your blog using uour videoplayer. The feature seems to work very fine. But, if you have any issue, please report us!

Dear Koin-up-ers,

On Friday (June 22, 2007) we will take down Koinup to make some updates. The website won't be available for about 4 hours (from 6:00 a.m to 10:00 a.m GMT).

I take this opportunity to tell you that these days Koinup is running very fine!

If you browse the website, you can come across :
a great quantity of very nice pics
some very funny machinima
and some awesome stories

What's the hell is a story? I'll explain better in the next posts. But since now I can tell you that stories (storyboards) are a very useful tool to tell something using images and words.......You can use them to prepare your upcoming machinima or to tell us what's happened to your virtual life......

Hope you can enjoy it as I did!

Fast Upload and other new features

I wanna suggest you to try our new features:

1. Fast Upload, to upload up to 6 pictures in one shot!
2. Great Video Quality, to have a better enjoyment with machinima
   

Eventually, I'm proud to tell you that we fixed some bugs we had with xhtml and now you can write link (url, slurl and other website address) in your profile, in the works descriptions, in the credits and in the comments on to the Koinup works

Koinup Official Blog

I'm Pierluigi Casolari from Koinup and this is the Koinup Official Blog....

We'd like to use this blog to talk with you. Not only to tell you about Koinup upgrades, news, etc etc, but also to listen from you about your Koinup Personal Experience!

I'd like to tell you some upgrades we made in the last days, that I know you'll appreciate very much:

1. At first, I'm very glad to tell you that we activated a specific tool, we called it: FAST UPLOAD. I know, someone wasn't so satisfied with our previous upload service. He was agree. Now, instead, you have the chance to upload up to 6 pictures in one shot!

   
   

   (Fastupload works only with pictures. For storyboard, you have to use our specific uploading tool. It's very easy to use and you can create storyboards 30 frames long. For videos, you have to upload them one by one)
   
   

2. I'm also very proud to announce that we have improved a lot the quality of our Videos. We increased the frames bitrate and the audio quality. Machinima makers will join this upgrade a lot!
   
   
3. Then, we introduced our new logo! It is a corporate rainbow. Each color mean a virtual world! Our logo has been created by the italian artist Robert Gligorov

What else? Maybe I can give some lights about our next features.........Sure, we're introducing a search engine to search between Koinup contents and we're working to improve the enjoyment of pictures and stories
