The future of Virtual Electronica with Doubledown Tandino at Koinup SL6B gallery

The indefatigable Doubledown Tandino will perform on this tuesday between 1pm-3pm (SLtime) at the Koinup SL6B Art Gallery.



The show is called: The future of Virtual Electronica and Doubledown Tandino will entertain all the audience with skilled djings, great music and enthusiasm in the virtual scenery of VirtuoCity in front of the 3D Logo of Koinup, built by Talia Tokugawa

Koinup SL6B Gallery. Djing Sets on this sunday

All the participants of the Avatar Pics Competition can't miss the Koinup SL6B Gallery (The house of avatars)



The amazing build has been created by Talia Tokugawa and it features the 3D version of the Koinup Logotype. Inside the build, you can enjoy the avatar art exhibition made up with the winners of the Avatar Pics Competition and a selection of the Koinup coolest works

On this Sunday, some Djs and musicians will improvise shows and djsets to entertain the visitors

The winners of the Avatar Pics Competition.

Gladly, its the time to announce the winners of the Avatar Pics Competition. As you probably know, the Avatar Pics Competition is the 1st crossworld avatar art contest, open to all virtual worlds and avatars. It has been a fantastic contest for Koinup, because we had the chance to collect in a single room art pieces from all the virtual worlds. In the pool you can find, artworks created in Second Life, IMVU, World of Warcraft, Frenzoo and many other worlds.

Winning works gains the chance to be displayed at the Koinup Art Gallery built for the Second Life 6th Birthday.

Koinup is exhibitor at the SL6B and the contest has been arranged in order to involve our amazing community with the SL6B events!

Along with all the participants of the contest, which joined the competition, I'd love to thank you the judges that spend their time surveying and judging all the entries: Mario Gerosa, Hamlet Au and the Museo del Metaverso staff

The official SL6B Koinup group and the Avatar Pic Competition

If you browse the Koinup groups these weeks, it is possible that you stumble on the SL6B group. Created by Poid Mahovlich and Talia Tokugawa , the group mission is to collect images and slurls of the Second Life 6th Birthday Show. Join the group, now!

Second Life Birthday theme this year is "the future of virtual worlds". I found very interesting (and positive) that one of most important virtual worlds (Second Life) devote its birthday fair, not only to itself but also to the whole industry of the virtual worlds. It came the time to start to talk about interoperability among various virtual worlds. Isn't it? Express your opinion in the group forums

I also take the advantage to announce that the Koinup SL6B build is almost ready. As you probably know, Koinup has been invited as exhibitor at the SL6B. In order to involve our amazing community for this project, we launched "The Avatar Pics Competition" with the aim of displaying the winning works at the SL6B in the Koinup Plot. Now, the submission time is closed and the judges are reviewing the entries. The announcement is scheduled for tomorrow, on 22th of june! Stay tuned, here
