Virtual Worlds members take very seriously the idea of representing themselves and their friends using their avatars. So, one of the most widespread genre in the second life and/or metaverse art and photography is the "avatar portrait".

wow thank you Pier. Let me note here that Kitina actually took the original shot http://www.flickr.com/photos/kitina/3307518053/ and I did the post processing on it. She has amazing eyes, these are the window to her soul as in real life;-)
