dear Collin,
as you probably know the community winner is based on our coolest ranking system......
Comments, Favs and view numbers contribute to increase the coolest status of a work.....

Flow2005 entry has obtained the higher ranking......

But there are many other entry, that got amazing coolest status....

I posted them in this post.....

yup yup! I think the community choice underscores the importance of good marketing and social networking too!

Yes, the amount of view and comments is often proportional to the network of the users...this doesn't mean that works don't have any importance....
if you don't have good works, I think that network is not enought .....

Juries winners will introduce other parametres into the arena.....

I'm sure we will great works between the winners.....

thanks for your comments collin!

yup! all good points.....

thanks for hosting a cool event! Glad to see you got so much response, and I like the outside judges to. Some events and competitions I have seen actually bring competitive artists in on the judging and advisory panels, and you cant help but wonder about objectivity... yunno?

anyway! good stuff! I'm sure were all biting our nails to see who wins! thats a good thing!

=)
