Machinima is not only an artistic medium. You can use to express yourself, but also to face political, sociological, international issues. Draxtor is using machinima as a sort of journalistic tool and he is digging into the potential of machinima for spreading and communicate relevant news.
His video: "California Legacy in SL - Episode2: Desert by Mary Austin " is based on the "The California Legacy Project" at Santa Clara University, a project dedicated to preserving Californias unique culture through our book series, our radio productions, and now through the virtual world of Second Life, using machinima videos to visualize the writings.
