Koinup Statistics

During the latest months, Koinup grew consistently. The perpetual updates on the website both drove to Koinup new people, I'm thinking mainly to the Places Feature and to the contests and also helped to retain the old members.
So, Today we wanna share with you some preliminary statistics about the website

1) About 100K works uploaded
The major part are images, but there also some some machinima and storyboards.
Almost all the stuffs are from Second Life, The Sims, IMVU members. But I wanna direct your attention also to some relevant stuffs from World of Warcraft and OpenSim

2) About 100K visitors monthly
We are getting traffic from all over the world. There is no area on the earth that it is not represented on Koinup. A big share is from United States and Europe, but also Asia, Oceania, Latin Americas and Africa use to visit Koinup

3) More than 1M impressions monthly
Thanks to Internal Messaging System, The Koinup Visual Editor, The Comment You've Made and other features Koinup is more amusing and people seems to have more engagement with the website. Each visit produce many page views, because people and visitors have fun on Koinup


We are still a small crew, but we are growing quickly and overall we have lot of fun, while doing that!
So thank you very much to all of you for your support, membership and for stopping by

In memory of Gion Project (The Winners)

As you know, we run this competition because the amazing Gion sim is going to close the doors to visitors and together with Sammy Biddle and the entire Gion Project Manager Staff we wanter to create an album of Gion Memories

Koinup Pathfinder, Third Round: Historical Sims

The third round of the Koinup Pathfinder Competition is devoted to History.

Discover amazing historical sims and win a set of awesome *fresh poses*, supplied by Ana Lutetia

Pay attention to the Second Life Places already featured on Koinup, they can't be included in the count of the new sims discovered

Need some examples of historical themes? A reconstruction of the ancient Rome is historical, a sim filled with pyramids is historical, a remake of Paris in the eighteenth century is historical, a victorian areas and costumes is historical........ hope these suggestions help you to find your course

Orange Island & Koinup Photo Sessions: Cienega Soon

Hereafter, winners of the Pathfinder weekly contests will have to opportunity to win a series of poses created by Ana Lutetia

Open Sim: welcome on Koinup!

During the OpenSpace debate, some Koinup members asked us to make available an Open Sim section on Koinup. As you know we are a community based website and love complying with the community wishes! So VoilĂ , this is the new brand Open Sim to join on Koinup!
Open Sims residents can easily now share their avatars, screenshots, opinions and (virtual life) here on Koinup, and let the other Koinup members know about this world

The launch of the Open Sim world on Koinup means a lot for us and it show our engagement in the Metaverse Open Souce movement. We look forward to see these Open Sims worlds growing up and expand their influence over the whole metaverse and virtual worlds scene.
